Position: Project Officer (1 position, full-time)

Location: Skopje, North Macedonia

Founded in 2004, the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) is a leading think tank engaged in policy analysis to foster citizen participation, improve legislation, and evaluate institutional capacities. CRPM has successfully implemented over 200 national and 100 regional projects, aiming to contribute to the wider Western Balkans region. Main Responsibilities of the Project Officer:

Project Implementation and Support:

  • Proactively support the daily implementation of the project activities in compliance with work plans and objectives.
  • Maintain project correspondence and communication with partners and stakeholders.
  • Collect, register, and archive project documentation and records.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
  • Support the preparation of project progress reports and documentation for donors.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, field visits, events, and trainings, including preparing agendas, logistics, and minutes.

 

Financial and Procurement Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement documentation.  Follow up on disbursements and payments related to project activities and grants.

 

Communication and Outreach:

  • Draft and edit media materials for the project (press releases, newsletters, social media content).
  • Ensure visibility of project activities according to the project branding plan.
  • Contribute to the preparation of communication materials such as brochures, case studies, and media kits.
  • Manage content and updates for the project website.
  • Support outreach activities through social media and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure local communication efforts align with regional project messaging and branding.

 

Other Duties:

  • Perform additional tasks related to project implementation as requested by the Project Manager.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in communications, business administration, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the civil society sector (regional experience is an asset).
  • Specialized PR, social media experience and graphic design are an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Macedonian. Another regional language is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written English language skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office365, Canva, World Press and communication tools.

Accountability and Working Relationships:

  • Reports to the Project Manager.     Works closely with the Grants Team and other project staff.
