| I am Aleksandar Krstevski, PhD in Political Economy, with extensive experience as Head of Sector in the Municipality of Kumanovo. Over the years, I have successfully led and implemented numerous projects and strategies in the fields of local development, public safety, and governance, in cooperation with national and international partners. | Dr. Ivan Ristov is a Macedonian security expert and academic, holding a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Security Sciences from the Faculty of Security in Skopje (UKLO), where he graduated with highest honors, and a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in International Security from the University of Geneva and Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). His research focuses on power dynamics, soft power, disinformation, radicalization, counterterrorism, and digital threats, with particular expertise on Turkey’s influence in the Balkans, extensively explored during his doctoral and MAS theses. Dr. Ristov has over a decade of professional experience in national security institutions in North Macedonia, including positions involving law enforcement, criminal intelligence, and counterterrorism. He currently also serves as Senior Advisor and Researcher at the RINK Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His international experience includes being an Erasmus+ visiting researcher at Bilkent University in Ankara, participating in high-level programs such as the Leadership in International Security Course (LISC) at GCSP, the Manfred Wörner Seminar (Germany), SAYP (Sweden), and advanced OSINT training at the International Anti-Corruption Academy (Austria). Dr. Ristov regularly presents at international conferences and workshops under NATO, USIP, SETA Ankara, and Minerva Center (Israel), addressing topics related to emerging global security challenges. His academic work has been published in peer-reviewed journals covering security studies, violent extremism, and hybrid warfare. Gorjan Curlinov is a graduate economist from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, specializing in E-business. Since 2021, he has served as President of the Youth Forum of the Vlach Party of the Republic of Macedonia, where he actively contributes to shaping youth policies and fostering political engagement. He began his career in the civil sector, working within the country’s largest umbrella youth organization — the National Youth Council of Macedonia. Today, he is building his professional path in the private sector while remaining committed to activism and driving social change. Gorjan is an alumnus of several schools and academies focused on public policy, youth leadership, and political engagement. | Mila Mitkovska holds a BSc in Psychology with a minor in International Business from the American College of Thessaloniki. She is currently pursuing specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) in Belgrade. She has experience in clinical and research settings, with a focus on mental health, social inclusion, and youth empowerment. Mila has worked on projects that support adolescents, promote financial literacy among young adults, and develop educational resources on conflict resolution. She was part of the award-winning team behind Speak Out, a mobile app addressing bullying, recognized by the Generation Unlimited Youth Challenge. | Hristina Zdraveska is a legal professional and professional civil society activist based in Prilep, North Macedonia. She holds a Master’s degree in Security Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from South East European University. Since 2019, she has worked as a Lawyer and Project Coordinator at the Association for Legal Education and Transparency – LET STATION. In this role, she plays a key part in promoting access to justice for marginalized communities by providing legal assistance, coordinating grassroots initiatives and leading efforts for legal empowerment. | Viktorija Andonovska holds a B.A. in Law and an LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Faculty of Law Iustinianus Primus. As part of her LL.M. studies, she completed and defended a master’s thesis titled “Analysis of Lost Profit in Commercial Contracts.” She is currently an LL.M. candidate in International and Comparative Children’s Rights at the University of Miskolc. During her academic studies, she was actively involved with the Legal Clinic for Marginalized Groups at the Faculty of Law Iustinianus Primus for three academic years. She was also a teaching assistant in the Commercial Law Department at the same faculty for nearly two academic years. Professionally, she currently works as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Aleksandar Gichev. She has participated in numerous international legal conferences and training programs focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, and Competition Law. She also took part in the Pannonian Student Camp, where her paper titled “AI’s Impact on Competition Law: Addressing Collusion Risks” was recognized as one of the best student papers. | Viktor Stojanovski holds a Master of Legal Sciences and has over 15 years of professional experience across public administration, civil society, and the private sector in North Macedonia. Since 2023, he has been serving as an Advisor for Projections and Analysis at the Ministry of Finance, contributing to fiscal forecasting and strategic evaluations. His career began in education as a computer science teacher, where he helped shape the secondary school system, later taking on national-level roles as a trainer, policy contributor, and collaborator with international organizations such as OSCE and UNDP. | Ana Marija Naumovska is a master’s student in Public International Law, Private International Law, International Relations and EU Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, where she is simultaneously engaged as a teaching assistant. She completed her bachelor’s degree in legal studies summa cum laude at the same university, where she developed a profound interest in transitional justice, international humanitarian and human rights law. She participated in the 17th Regional Moot Court Competition before the European Court of Human Rights and the 2024 and 2025 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competitions, where she was recognized as a Third Best Oralist at the European Rounds. She has attended a number of extracurricular courses organized by international institutions and has completed legal research projects gravitating around her fields of interest. Professionally, she pursued her commitment to international justice during her internship at the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals. | Ilir Saliu is a Chevening Scholar with an MSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, focusing on digital anthropology, with broader interests in political and economic anthropology. He holds a BA in Albanian Language and Literature from the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje. His experience spans university and high-school teaching, qualitative and digital research, and project management & coordination. He created and hosts the podcast “Llafe t’lira”, and has published two peer-reviewed articles in the “Journal of Contemporary Philology” focusing on socio-cultural topics. | Igor Antov holds a B.A. in political science from the Free University Berlin and is a M.A. candidate in international politics at the University of Hamburg. In 2018 he founded the NGO “Youth Guerilla” assuming the role of head of operations. The NGO primarily focussed on youth and social development through projects on social inclusion, informal education, sport and art. For his master studies he was awarded a scholarship by one of the german foundations (Begabtenförderungswerke). After 5 months he was elected to represent the interests of the international scholarship holders within the foundation. During his master studies, he has worked as a student assistant at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) on a project focussed on global interdependence. Furthermore, he has done an internship at the German Parliament, under the MdB Josip Juratovic. He has done two further internships in Viena at the Austrian Institute for International Politics (ÖIIP) and in Munich at the Southeast Europe Association (SOG). His responsibilities at the ÖIIP included preparing policy briefs and academic analysis about events happening in the Western Balkans, whereas his tasks at the SOG were aimed at approaching the problems in the Western Balkans in a more direct manner through moderating panel discussions and helping organize events with relevant stakeholders. She has several years of different working experience, especially in accountancy, and as well as experience in a few International Organizations in the EU countries. Emilija Bumbaroska holds two Postgraduate degrees: Master in European Studies at the Faculty of Economics (SS Cyril and Methodius Skopje) and Master in Diplomacy at the Faculty of Political Sciences (FON-AUE Skopje). | Igor Antov holds a B.A. in political science from the Free University Berlin and is a M.A. candidate in international politics at the University of Hamburg. In 2018 he founded the NGO “Youth Guerilla” assuming the role of head of operations. The NGO primarily focussed on youth and social development through projects on social inclusion, informal education, sport and art. For his master studies he was awarded a scholarship by one of the german foundations (Begabtenförderungswerke). After 5 months he was elected to represent the interests of the international scholarship holders within the foundation. During his master studies, he has worked as a student assistant at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) on a project focussed on global interdependence. Furthermore, he has done an internship at the German Parliament, under the MdB Josip Juratovic. He has done two further internships in Viena at the Austrian Institute for International Politics (ÖIIP) and in Munich at the Southeast Europe Association (SOG). His responsibilities at the ÖIIP included preparing policy briefs and academic analysis about events happening in the Western Balkans, whereas his tasks at the SOG were aimed at approaching the problems in the Western Balkans in a more direct manner through moderating panel discussions and helping organize events with relevant stakeholders. | Sofia Dashtevska is a Macedonian legal professional, researcher, and interpreter specializing in international law, human rights, and European Union law. Born in Skopje on 8 October 2001, she completed her legal education at the Faculty of Law “Justinian I” at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, where she earned both her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees. In May 2025, she successfully defended her master's thesis entitled “The International Legal Regulation of Hate Speech with a Focus on the Case Law of the Republic of Macedonia,” obtaining a Master of Laws degree with a specialization in public international law, private international law, international relations, and EU law. | My name is Neda Gacova, and I am a legal professional with more than 13 years of experience in public administration, legislative affairs, electoral processes, and legal advisory services. I hold a Master’s Degree in International Law and have successfully passed both the Bar Exam and the Notary Exam in the Republic of Macedonia. | Marko Paloski is a Senior System Engineer from North Macedonia with a background in youth involvement, good governance, cybersecurity, and Internet governance. He graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in Skopje and has built extensive experience in managing and securing IT infrastructure while contributing to the development of digital policies and governance frameworks at national, regional, and international levels.
