
Dr. Goran Miladinov holds a PhD in Demography from the Faculty of Economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. His research interests lie at the intersection of demography, population economics, development economics, applied econometrics, and statistical methods for business and economics.
Goran has academic experience teaching statistics, econometrics, and management courses at the Faculty of Economics, Goce Delchev University in Štip. He also worked at the State Statistical Office in Skopje, where he contributed to Research & Development statistics.
He has conducted research study visits in Slovenia, Germany (Max Planck School for Demography), the United States, and Austria. In addition to his academic work, Goran is active as an independent researcher, journal section editor, and peer reviewer for numerous international scientific journals.
Goran joined the Centre for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) as a researcher and currently serves as lead demographer on the project Articulation of Demographic Challenges of Ageing and Socio-economic Context in the Western Balkans, implemented in partnership with AFD across three countries in the region.
