National Interventions
Our National Intervention First Call received an incredible 60 applications via GMP, all successfully passing the administrative check. After careful evaluation, 20 organizations were selected to proceed with full applications. Despite challenges, including tragic events in Serbia, all 19 evaluated organizations made the cut. Remarkably, no applications were rejected based on additional criteria. On April 4, 2023, we awarded 11 grants, showcasing the high quality and impact of these projects. Here’s to their continued success!
Local Initiatives
The success of our Local Initiatives grant – out of 13 applications received via GMP, 12 were approved for evaluation. With rigorous quality assurance measures in place, two evaluators collaborated to ensure fair assessments. An eliminatory criterion was applied across all public calls, ensuring only high-quality proposals advanced. During Selection Committee meetings, a total of 9 deserving organizations were awarded grants.
Creative Box
We’re excited to reflect on our Creative Box grants selection process…In 2023, a total of 11 applications were submitted through GMP, and we’re pleased to say that none were rejected during administrative checks. Following evaluations from February 23 to March 20, 2023, two exceptional organizations emerged as recipients of grants. We’re delighted with the outcome, a testament to the calibre of projects we champion.
Media Grant
A recap from our latest round of Media grants! Out of 19 applications received through GMP, none were rejected during administrative checks. Evaluations were conducted in pairs, ensuring fairness. Following thorough reviews, two deserving organizations were awarded grants totalling 284,527.98 NOK, reflecting our commitment to impactful media initiatives in the region.

Our Local Initiatives grant garnered significant interest, with 13 applications received and 12 approved for evaluation. With stringent quality assurance measures, nine deserving organizations secured grants, underscoring the success of this initiative.
Reflecting on our Creative Box grants selection process, we’re delighted to share that all 11 applications sailed through administrative checks. Following evaluations, two exceptional organizations were chosen as grant recipients, highlighting the caliber of projects we support.
