Quality tertiary education

This research aims to offer a complete analysis of the reasons for the gap between the higher education and the labor market. This problem is analyzed from several aspects so that a number of factors are considered. First, a statistical overview of the supply and demand for qualifi ed personnel is presented and then follows an analysis of the skills and knowledge that are acquired during the undergraduate studies at the universities (taking into account the opinions of the teaching personnel, the students and the curriculum). The research concludes with concrete recommendations for the institutions on how to overcome the problematic aspects and establish a better cooperation between the higher education and the labor market
