The Centre for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), on behalf of the Gender Budget Watchdog Network (GBWN), is seeking an international expert to develop Network Quality Standards for GBWN under the Strengthening Transparency and Accountability for Gender Equality in Western Balkans and Moldova project.
About the Project:
This project supports GBWN’s goal of ensuring that public finance policies prioritize gender equality and climate action. It aims to build the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) working in the Western Balkans and Moldova, specifically in North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Moldova. By strengthening public commitments to gender-responsive climate action, the project helps increase access to financing for initiatives that consider both gender and environmental impacts.
Role Overview:
As the selected expert, you will play a key role in developing quality standards for GBWN’s network. These standards will be adapted from global accountability frameworks and tailored to meet the unique needs of GBWN members who are working on gender-responsive budgeting (GRB) and climate change financing. You will collaborate with members to co-create these standards and facilitate workshops to ensure they are implemented effectively across the network.
Your contribution will help GBWN members strengthen their work on gender-responsive budgeting, enhance their capacity to monitor climate change financing, and ensure that their practices align with the highest accountability standards.
