Zlatko Simonovski has a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He also holds two MA degrees: in Media and Communications (Ss. Cyril and Methodius – Skopje) and in Human rights and Democracy in Southeast Europe (University of Bologna and University of Sarajevo). He has a three-year working experience as a TV-reporter in Telma, where he covered daily events mainly in the domain of labor, economy and social care. In 2013, Zlatko initiated a new path career in CRPM when he became a project coordinator engaged in projects related to enhancing national green portfolio, later engaged as project manager of the Department on Sustainable Development where he worked on environmental issues, alongside the gender perspective of the climate change and the results of financing the mitigation and adaptation. Today, as a Senior Project Officer, is working at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).


Ana Krstinovska holds a master’s degree in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium), a Master in Conference Interpretation from Sts. Cyril and Methodius University and a Specialization in Chinese Language and Culture from Beijing Foreign Studies University (Beijing, PR China). Her previous professional experience includes the positions of State Secretary in the Secretariat for European Affairs, Advisor for Cooperation with International Organizations in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and EU-accredited freelance interpreter. Blazheska is an alumna of the US State Department International Visitors Program for Women Leaders – Promoting Peace and Security on the UN SC Resolution 1325 and alumna of the School of Public Policy “Mother Teresa”. She is founder and President of ESTIMA (think tank).


Ivan Stefanovski holds a PhD in Political Science and Sociology from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences in Florence, at the University of Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy. He studied law at the Faculty of Law in Skopje (undergraduate and master studies). His main areas of research interest are social movements, democratization, Europeanization, political polarization and radicalization, as well as the public policy-making process in Southeast Europe. He was Executive Director of Eurothink – Center for European Strategies and now is Program Officer at National Democratic Institute (NDI).


Mr. Mile Aleksoski Ltc. (retired) holds BA from the Military Aviation Academy in Zadar, Croatia and Diploma from the School of Political studies of South-East Europe. During his career he attended numerous trainings, courses, seminars and conferences in different areas (International Security, CIMIC, CEP etc.) He is a highly experienced professional and has special interest in the area of civil military relations, international military and political conditions in the SEE region, security policy, crisis management and peacekeeping operations.


Ana Mickovska-Raleva holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius from Skopje and an MPhil degree in Education from the University in Cambridge, UK.  Her interests range from social psychology issues (group relations, forming stereotypes and prejudice, media influence on forming opinions) and issues of educational modernization and quality. She has published her studies in domestic and international journals and presented her research at several international conferences. Her areas of specialization include: education policy research, project monitoring and evaluation, and quantitative data analysis. She works in Macedonian Center for Civic Education as a Project Coordinator.


Emil Shurkov holds a BA in Political Science and European Studies from the American University in Blagoevgrad and an MSc. in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Before joining CRPM in January 2014 Shurkov has been working in the private sector, more specifically, banking, insurance, education, environmental consulting etc. He has participated in a number of international trainings, forums and conferences. His research and personal interests include, but are not limited to: emerging and green technologies, sustainable development and energy efficiency, sustainable transport and energy, economy. He is Project Analyst at Sensitech.


Zdravko Veljanov has a Bachelor degree in Translation and Interpreting with Cultural Studies from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje; MA degree in Conference Interpreting from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and MA/MSc degree in European Studies from Europa-Universität Flensburg, Germany and University of Southern Denmark, Denmark. His research interests include, but are not limited to: social and transitional justice, industrial relations, human rights and democracy, policy-making, good governance and constitutionalization. Zdravko is PhD Student at Political Science Department of Central European University and Senior Analyst at Government Transparency Institute.
