State Funding for SOS Helplines in the Western Balkans and Republic of Moldova

This policy brief is related to funding of SOS helplines, one of specialised services for combating gender-based violence. The analyses focuses on obligations of the WB countries and Moldova for: appropriate financial and human resources, recognition and support to the relevant nongovernmental organisation, 24/7 SOS helpline availability at the national level for various forms of violence. This publication was created within the Gender Budget Watchdog Network in the Western Balkans and Republic of Moldova Project with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
