POLAND-WESTERN BALKANS Together Towards the Future

On May 1, 2004, Poland became a full member of the European Union. 16 years on, we are listed among the countries that have made the most of this opportunity. The economic and infrastructural development as well as a number of political reforms are presented as exemplary to other countries aspiring to join the European Union. An important and complementary point of the EU enlargement policy is the Berlin Process, in which Poland held the presidency in 2019. Its main event was the Western Balkans Summit in Poznan (July 2019).
