The Arab Women’s Leadership Institute (AWLI) recruited and trained ten women leaders in policy development in their home countries within the Middle East and North Africa.
The fellows were assigned Eastern Europe mentors and visited Macedonia to study the policy development process in the country.
Dr. Marija Risteska, CRPM Executive Director acted as trainer and mentor to number of the fellows working on topics such as education rights, inheritance rights and equal wealth distribution policy.
Following the study tour AWLI fellows will be responsible for conducting extensive research and country-wide interviews of stakeholders on their chosen topic. Fellows will keep video journals throughout the year to document the progress of their individual projects.
