In Оctober 2023 CRPM implemented a mapping of CSOs that focus on work with youth and has published a call for local civil society organizations to participate in the project “Young Men Initiative in GBV Prevention in Macedonia”. In response to a call for applications, interested organizations submitted their applications which were undergoing procedures through awarding sub-grants which were governed by specific eligibility criteria with a preference to youth CSOs from the target municipalities that are familiar with the local context.
We have signed sub-granting agreement with five local youth CSOs which will implement the Young Men Initiative program in partnership with CRPM on the national level and in their local communities reaching out to 360 youth.
The five selected youth organizations will implement activities in the following municipalities:
- Youth Can – municipalities of Gjorce Petrov, Centar and Gazi Baba
- Organised Youth Association – municipalities of Gostivar and Tetovo
- Kreaktiv – municipalities of Negotino and Kavadarci
- AKVA – municipality of Ohrid
- Local Community Development Foundation – municipality of Shtip
