It has been 10 years since the EU started using the Financial support to third parties mechanisms to provide for further development and sustainability of civil society in Western Balkans. The Center for Research and Policy Making has been one of the implementing partners of the EU in this period.
During the conference organized by EU TACSO, the Executive Director Marija Risteska presented the CRPM approach in managing EU FSTP contracts emphasizing that the organization used the mechanism to:
- develop own re-granting capacity;
- diffuse its policy approach to other CSOs and through training and mentoring mobilize them into policy work;
- create a tipping point for policy change by multiplying the voices seeking such change.
